About Bcause

Metals play a part in society’s development and modernisation worldwide. Here at Boliden, our mines and smelters have enabled us to be part of that process for over 90 years. And because we are keen to give back to the communities in which we operate, we have been involved in local clubs and associations including charitable organisations. In 2014, we felt we wanted to be part of something even bigger.

So, we set up the Bcause charity foundation as part of our efforts to contribute on a more global scale. Bcause is based on voluntary donations from Boliden’s employees and top-up contributions from the company.
